I love that we had hot dogs and hand rails at Bear this Saturday. I picked up my dual mountain anytime pass, got tons of free shit from all the vendors, and watched a legit competition to get me ready for the season. Oh and it snowed in mammoth already. It's going to be a great year this season

I love that I'm starting mall cop ski patrol school next week. Free first tracks every weekend here I come! Oh and I get a spiffy new jacket too!

It's getting there! Most of the soreness now is only when I bump it by accident, or if I accidentally rotate my foot the wrong way, mostly when I roll while I'm sleeping. The redness is almost all gone as well.

Also, I made my own pumpkin pie spice mix. French macarons, here I come!

Actually I've never run into a bad patroller at Nakiska. I think the only thing they'd ever ding you for is cutting under a rope.

I think it's more of a first aid role than anything, check the runs to make sure they're okay for the day, etc.

I usually use the slow signs as slalom gates there full out, and nobody says anything!

The Microsoft Surface Pro...

I bought this thing to see if it could replace my laptop as my daily computer. After about a month of use I find myself finding faults with other computers now. The touchscreen is nice Windows 8 is pretty good, and the size of it is just about right (maybe a little small).

It's got a core i5 processor, Bluetooth 3.0, etc. pretty spiffy little tablet/laptop
