First time I've posted in this thread, I've got to stop being so negative!

Today I love getting my gear ready for a day at Fernie tomorrow with some random people I barely know. Just people I've meant at work from other companies.

Not so much love, but I'm so stoked that I'm finally taking steps to get level 10 clinger to back the fuck off. I'm also super stoked that my ankle isn't sore today like I thought it would be after going snowboarding. YAY!

You've horses as well? As kid, I had the idea to once emigrate to Montana. To me, it sounded like paradise (heavily biased by too many movies with lots of wide land and horses )
I've many friends who moan about the darkness and cold, and spend their winter riding in the indoor arena. I can't understand this, winter is one of the best seasons for hacking! You never can gallop as much and fast as in wintertime. I'll be in the woods again tomorrow, dressage work in the dusty crowded arena can wait till the snow is gone

Today I love that I got momma out for her first day(2nd ever) of the season... Too bad about the skis though... Oh well, one step at a time.

Riding this season...

yes, 2 Tennessee Walkers...i should say: my wife has 2, i help and stack blocks of hay, etc! MT is and amazing place to ride in any season, one of the reasons to get them was to be able to ride in Glacier Nat'l Park

My favorite snowboard trip was one I took with NOBODY I knew. Now some of those people are coming to my wedding all the way from Ontario!

How was Fernie? It's usually rough early in the season. That said, when it's good, IT'S GOOD.

I get clingons when I'm driving from Cal to Edm and back. I'm riding on the cruise and they speed up and slow down and piss me off... Flipping the bird usually works!

As far as I know, Montana is very much like Alberta. Wide open plains, big mountains, horses and the agriculture life. If it's anything like Alberta I'd love it there...
