Sounds awesome.

My friend in Switzerland just went to a place called Flumserberg. Said an hour train ride takes her right to Gondola, then up 1,500m and she was riding. Wish I had a deal like that around here. No driving to n from? Day trips to the mnt. and restfull train ride home after? Sounds too good!

(...course she's all banged up right now after getting run over on her last lap by some F'ing ooc skier!) gapers everywhere I suppose.

Yea... found it amusing to read posts in several threads where ppl conplained about rude/oblivious/thoughtless behaviour on slopes at yours and seing the same over here. Some things seem to be different but with other things, ppl are the same all over.

Put away 3$ a day and you're here within a year.

A propos $. Today I love US prizes! Found a local shop (local, not cheap online mass retailer) "over there" with all the Arc'teryx items I always admired here but hell, that stuff is soooo expensive here! The usual course of action here: trying it, oooh, it fits so perfectly, it's so light! aaah, the price tag... ouch.. maybe later, go look at the cheaper corner.
Big parcel waiting for me in AK Really looking forward to replace my heavy thick shells with lighweight 3L for touring.

Damnnn, Neni! Sounds awesome. I just talked the wife into Norway for next winter to watch the alien curtains and, if I'm lucky, get some snow time. Sounds like you already got the heads up on your shopping. I love loading up on goods when I go back for visits. Have fun, and you are right...you can always catch your breath on the flight back.

And I like to hear Flumserberg getting some love. That's my go to spot.

Hmnnn,... that would cover the cost of a flight. ....and with my friend having an apt. there and in Germany, I wouldn't need a hotel! (.....sound of wheels spinning!!)

It sounded great! To only be an hour or so away from a real mountain and not even have to worry about driving to n from! I gotta drive 4+ hours to get to anything just a tiny bit bigger than our 300 ft of vert! LOL! She said she liked it a lot. (...said it was expensive, but worth it!)

Neni,... I hope the Snow God's bless your trip with truly epic, Deep POW!!!
