Cruising!!! Was skeptical at first, and there is a bit of a "cattle herding" feel to parts of it. But otherwise had an AWESOME honeymoon!!! We went from Ft Lauderdale to Nassau, St Thomas, and Sint Maarten.

Snorkelled my ass off, rock climbed, swam, photographed, ate, drank, was merry, read several books, listened to a jazz quartet, saw two theater shows (Chicago and Blue Planet) and just generally had a good time. Run on sentence intended!!!

Is that how kids these days spend their honeymoon?

Don't remember having time for much at all during mine (well, definitely not books), but I guess times change?

We've been living together for years, and we didn't pay all that money just to stay in the room all week! I spent a lot of time sitting by the pool, reading, drinking, swimming, it was great!!!

The fact that I think I found a pair of boots that actually fit the way they're supposed to,rather than my used $20 ones that are too big.

Some of the people I patrol with:

One of the patrollers in my rookie course is a former air force pilot. Her husband has been having a real rough time with his health, and it's been weighing heavily on her. We all have "Victor" numbers, so they can tell whos a pro, and who's a volunteer when we're on the radio.

I'm V56, or "Victor Fifty Six" as spoken.

Was listening in yesterday and I heard somebody call out "Velvet Sixty Four is on Silver Tower Two".

Her air force callsign was Velvet 64, and they let her keep it for the ski patrol to make her feel welcome...
