this course is gonna be a crash course today when they compete for the medal.
Im watching the qualifiers right now and all i see is slush all over the damn place. A lot of racers are having troubles negotiating these slushy turns. Its gonna be an interesting event thats for sure |

I'm a NY State employee, got the day off, watching it.
There's going to be a lot of fighting for real estate at the top of these berns away from the slush once the finals get underway. Lots and lots of crashes tonight.

Why do they always do these when I'm at work. This seems to be something that a lot of people would be interested in and it is on in the midddle of the freaking day.
EDIT: So that would be no, I'm at work.

Looks like a blast!!!!!
![]() Just saw Graham Watanabe run. He may be small, but sooo smooth. The other US rider are doing OK too- Seth Wescott is 14th in qualifying now. He looked really rough, and even went switch into the one turn. I saw one other ridiculously smooth rider- big German dude. 6'2", 200+ lbs. What gets me though is the big squared off steps at the start. Such a lousy/slow way to start. Most of the riders are going to be knocked flat in that area.
