Dealing with Altitude
So far the biggest obstacle I have run into is dealing with the altitude at my local mountains. I am usually around 8,000-9,000 feet up. I try to stay hydrated and eat carbs, I am in pretty good shape as I exercise at least once a week and I am not overweight or anything. I was just wondering if anyone had any tips for not getting so winded and tired on the slopes from the altitude. I know some of it is because my body is not used to snowboarding, but I also know the altitude is hitting me hard too. Any natural remedies I can take or conditioning I can do?
