I don't pay much attention to the news or television anymore, so someone clue me in here. This was written 2 weeks ago (stated in SPAZ's emailed post), when did these tornadoes come through?

For your information, I live in the most seismically dangerous part of the country at the foot of a fucking active volcano so don't fucking lecture me about taking disaster seriously you sanctimonious fucking asshole! Next time you troll a forum get your fucking facts straight you self righteous fucking prick!

While I'm the last person who cares about being 'PC' and apologizing for anything and everything that offends people, do you think this reply was a little 'over the top' for a grown man, let alone an administrator of a forum? Wishing death on someone who may have been affected by a natural disaster? Attacking an entire region of the country? At what point do people on this forum grow up? Especially the adults?

It was a good idea to put a stop on the e-mail. This is an exceptionally catastrophic time for the US in terms of natural disasters. These tornadoes are hitting in record numbers, doing more damage than I could begin to tabulate, and killing many people.

That having been said, the advertisement was actually pretty funny. I liked it. I hope no one takes it out of context, it was just a bad time to send it. And let's be honest, people are being killed by natural disasters everywhere at some point, so taking offense to this add is a little silly. It was not done in poor taste.

What pissed me off more than Backcountry's marketing was how the news here seemed to think the royal wedding was more important...

It's not like BC intended to be insensitive to anyone, so yeah, Snowolf is right, people need to chill out and not get butthurt about every little thing someone might say or do that maybe you might in some way be offended by.
