Summer Swag Contest!
We are as pumped for summer as anybody else so we decided to see what type of summer swag you guys have. We have two different contests going down. 1. We just released our first limited edition clothing item The Twinnesota Tank. The first 20 people to buy these tanks will be entered into a drawing for some Anarchy Sovereign Polarized Sunglasses! That’s a 1 and 20 chance of winning… pretty good in our opinion. Even if you don’t win the shades you still get a ltd. edition tank top for maximum summer swag. Winner chosen on 6/10. Buy the Twinnesota Tank here. $22 2. The second contest involves you showing us your summer swag. Post a picture on our wall and tag @TRNDcollective in the photo. The next step is to invite your Facebook friends and tell them to like your photo. The person with the most summer swag aka votes will win a Twinnesota Tank. Winner chosen 6/15 Lets kick summer off with a bang!

JeffreyCH: Just curious as to what you would pay for a tank top?
We did some market research before hand and most companies charge 28-35 for a tank so we thought $22 was a fair price considering the costs associated with screen printing and the tank top itself. PS: It's good to hear from some Midwest shredders. Cheers

Your cost to screen print plus the tank itself is going to be about 5 bucks. Nice mark up. And what the hell are you a store? lifestyle site? crappy blog? I can't figure it out.

10-12 bucks tops, and that's without even looking at them. Most I ever paid for a tank top was 18, and that was quicksilver.... had a lot of screen print, big wave design from front to back.
To be honest, you might as well not even market here, your plan sucks. You really thought you would just bounce in here and sell shit? Sure spent 5 bucks tossing some logo on a tanktop and sell em to suckers for 22... On the other hand, hang around for a year or so, contribute to the forums in some way, earn out respect, then maybe try to market something. Do some research around here, there is one retailer that gave away a shitload of boards for x-mas, another retailer that one of their reps takes his personal time to give gear advice, never pushes products but posts sale so we have a heads up. Or do like most who want some quick dollars.....be a d-bag n jus dip yo!!
