Default What a Wonderless Weekend.

Well the weekend started out alright, went shredding with my lil brother and a couple of his friends. I got him and one of his buddies riding switch pretty well and by the end of the night they were consecuticely landing 180s it was pretty sweet. Then I had to work 7-5 on saturday kinda sucks but I'm used to it, still managed to remove my old bindings on my anthem and replace a front differential in my RC car(yeah yeah I'm a big loser). Saturday night just chilled out with my friends steve. Then yesterday I went down to the local shop to get some new bindings for the Anthem and a wax and an edge you know getting ready for Jay, so while I'm in the shop waiting get a call from my Dad saying where you at what you doin, I'm liek just chillen here in Pitcrew yadda, well I'd like you to come home when your done, thinking he just needs my help with something(because with a 150+ yr old house there is just a little upkeep) so I go back home to have a fun sit down discussion with my Mom Dad and two othe rsiblings living at home. And here is where the weekend turns to shit. So 5 years ago my Mom had a brain tumor removed and this talk is to tell us that it has come back. Woo Hoo. So how was everybody elses weekend?

I should have given you a call on friday night though I didn't think about it until we were already there.

dcp - ah some testing times coming up huh? well your fam has dealt with this shit before and came thru okay, so just assume that this 1 for 1 success rate will continue. no reason to think other wise right? positive mental attitude. and judging by your post, you've got it. so keep on keeping on.

my weekend was pretty good and completely hockey-centric. took the missus out slapping pucks on saturday and got hassled by winos. good fun.

took the missus skating on sunday and she visibly improved. and then in the arvo, it was more puck slappy.

tonight we get ice time, but from 10.15 thru to midnight!!!! oh yeah, i am gonna be Mr Sunshine tomorra gang!

oh and last night i was up until 2am watching pittsburgh blitz buffalo! raaaahhh!!!

DCP sorry to hear about that. That stuff is the worse, I've had both success stories and stories ending tragically in my family. You have +++ vibes being sent your way. One thing is for sure, that stuff can be beat.

On a lighter note, I went and visited Utopia on Vail Pass last weekend. The snowmobile shit show was a bit much at the end of the day. Utopia itself, was one of the best pillow areas I have been to in the state. Pillows are fun to mash! I'll put up some pix later.

having seen your taste in polyester suits and ties...

having read your endless self assurred and relentless sales patter....

i am of the sound conviction that you Mr MPD are wasting your time and efforts for every second you are NOT on infomercial television!

you are what Jack LaLanne wishes he could be!

Wow DCP. Positive vibes going your way, from all of us. Just think positive.

No school this week thankfully, I needed a break.

love & light going out to your mom, dan. and strength & love going out to you.

i can somewhat relate...my mom told me not so long ago that the doc found a spot on her lung & wanted to further test for cancer. it freaked me the fuck out. luckily the spot went away with the next round of xrays, but for that short moment my whole life flashed before my eyes. we're getting to the age that our parents might not be around much longer...and i can't even imagine that.

as for death...i believe it is simply a transition of energy. that we don't actually die, just our bodies do. so i guess there's some comfort in that, but there's still the physical aspect that one has to cope with.

anyway, i wish her well.
