yea i know at least i have been out 32 times this year so far not quite 60 BUT if the doc says i can ride i will try .... we still need to take some laps KC

i heard some entertaining stories about you brits doing your own dental work on NPR. woman was telling how she pulled a piece of tooth out with pliers. then superglued a fake fingernail over a cracked tooth as a sort of crown.

just thought i'd share......

yar, the dental system has gone a bit whacky over here lately. the government allowed dentists to turn private, thus making national health provisions reduced. this was coz dentists were complaining of poverty. trouble was, it made them economically exclusive.

of course, national health allows guaranteed customers.... where as you have to advertise for private clients. for those too poor to chose, when a new national health dentist comes to a neighbourhood, they queue around the block!

i guess i got lucky.... i have a private dentist (in fact i saw him today with just 40 minutes notice for an emergency drill'n'fill) who lets me pay national health fees if my fill is low profile, or i can fork out top dollar private rates for the gleaming white fillings.

best of both worlds and no pliars required!

Ugh, that whole every time you put your foot down and feel stabbing reminds me of shin splints and fractured heels. Baseball and Soccer did that for me. Does the pain make riding unbearable? Atleast you can afford to see a doctor. Im looking at getting a less than desirable job for the bene's and a bag of loot for that very reason. I'm gonna see if I get through the physical with a jacked shoulder to see if I can get some cheap physical therapy after being hired

yea the pain is on the back side of my knee when it hyperextends ... then i have a stabbing pain on the inside side of my knee as well. It makes it to where i can't kick with my board and hiking almost impossible :-( I will know what the doc says later today ... i will post more then
