Hi guys! Today I get an interview invitation to the position of senior systems administrator from the Winter Olympics 2014 organizing committee. It means that there will be a conversation in English. The interview date is 3rd of October, so I have three weeks to prepare myself.
I have some skills in English, but it is nothing without practice. Anybody can help me with just chatting via skype or something like this? Pleaaaase!

I don't have that capability when I am normally online. While I tend to agree with MPD, there is absolutely nothing wrong with you trying to get more comfortable with the language. In fact it makes sense and can only help your chances. Good luck man, sounds like an awesome opportunity. Your head is in the right place.

Hi all! thanks for your feedback.
Like most of IT specialist around the world I have very good ability to read English. More of that - I read Stephen King's novels, Carroll's 'Alice', 'Catcher in the Rye' and "Catch 22", oh God, 'Lord of the Flies' and 'Lord of The Rings' in originals. Hey, I have watched the whole damned 'LOST" and many others TV serials without any subtitles. But when I trying to speak - this ruins all :-) scientist said this is a nervous barrier, and it can be broken only with blether. Maybe someone here is a virtual pilot? I mean Il-2 Sturmovik (Pacific Fighters) and other flight simulators? I can discuss not only snowboard stuff and techniques ;-)
