Idk, I think I'm going to wait until the summer and save up some more money for a ride. From the beginning of this thread, I said I'm in no rush to buy. This is mostly for research and learning about different models I'm interested in, and it has been pretty interesting imo. And I really don't think I'll wreck, I'm a pretty good driver. My friend who just got his license suspended for chasing a squirrel down the road with weed in the car.... that's a different story.

Not going to lie, that is a fine piece of Japanese machinery.

I think everyone would buy one of those for $5K
Yeah, but most people just don't care or know what they get from a car at that price.

I've been in the market for a few weeks now for a new vehicle too. I got a wild hair an sold my motorcycle and s-10. Now I've been bumming rides and sitting on cash.

Alot of my ideas have been posted on here. I've contemplated going for 06+ Sti personally. That, and I've looked at tons of Audi quattros. If i were to get another truck it would HAVE to be extended cab, 5 speed, and 4x4. Apparently this is too much to ask for unless I want a huge truck. Which I don't. I used to drive my civic Si in basically ANY condition (even hitting 145 in the dead of the night coming from Chicago to visit my dad in MN around christmas a few years back) I would like a BMW 325xi. Awd or bust. Same with wanting the quattros. My big thing is I DON'T want an automatic whatsoever. Damn lazy people not knowing how to drive a stick makes the selection few and far between.

Best of luck to you though.
