oh god i wouldn't get a 6 cyl vw, especially an r32. like i said, i watched my brother in law's passat fall apart and his jetta vr6 before that. haven't really thought about the TDi though. don't the early 00's jettas have a history of electrical problems? i'll definitely keep them in mind, though. thanks!

The V70 has everything I want, but that price seems waaay too good to be true. If I can get access to my bank account this week, I might just drive out to Massachusetts and look at it. I wont drive it until June or so, but if it's the real deal it might be worth it.

Yeah, that exact video came to mind when I looked at the V70. Also keep in mind that this car is much newer than the one in the video. I wish that fifth gear could be on a channel here in the US, so bad. Better than top gear, haha!

I have a Audi S4 and love the car in the summer and winter, I dont know if you can afford a S4 but a A4 Avant (wagon) has plenty of power and handles great. As for repairs I do it all my self makes it way cheaper and is not to hard if you can know a little about cars.

Thats not an XT. Subarus are awesome snowboard cars and awesome cars in general. I prefer manual for the better traction from the automatics. All of them are good. I like the OBs or Fozzies because of the little more clearance over the impreza and newer legacys. I got my 2003 forester with 100,000 miles for $5300 a couple years ago. if you get one with over 100,000 miles make sure that the timing belt was replaced. easier on the wallet.

huh, i thought that was the only trim that had a turbo. the volvo v70 looks really interesting, actually. i'm looking into it more right now since i can afford it and if the carfax checks out and all i'll go to massachusetts this weekend and look at it.

HAHAH an S4? He is 16, what does he need with a 4.2L V8? Besides an S4 he could afford would be high mileage, and unfortunately Audi's are notorious for astronomically high maintenance costs. If you buy an Audi without a warranty I feel sorry for you.

Now don't get me wrong, my next car is hopefully going to be a 2010 or 2011 (turbo V6 FTW) Audi S5, but it will be with a warranty. I love Audis....just not ones with a lot of miles.
