salt n pepper grits, cheese grits, cheese n bacon grits, granola, honey bunches of oats, cinnamon toast crunch

and my specialty, chinese hangover porridge:

1 big soup pot about 1/4 - 1/3 full of leftover cooked rice

fill mostly full of water get it cooking

add directly to soup:
-a bunch of cut up raw boneless chicken thigh meat - i go heavy, big chunks, poor man works too, cheap meat anyway
-a sprig of fresh ginger, peeled and cut into dime sized pieces - again i go heavy here, tons of flavor in the ginger, both the aromatic and the gastronomic qualities of the ginger are the secret here
-salt
-alot of pepper

porridge is done when the rice has fully expanded - about half an hour (i usually do an hour of good simmerin, u can tell when it gets ready, the rice and water become one sorta) depending if u wanna let it simmer slow or fire it up and get it done

not just for hangovers but a pretty rockin carb/protein rib stickin winter meal too.

you can use brown rice and breast meat if you hate flavor and hope to be totally disappointed.

Lucky Charms, Golden Grahams or Maple and Brown Sugar Oatmeal (although the packets are too small)

Corn Flakes, no sugar.

Cream of Wheat is the shit if you get creative and know how to modify it.

Tasty Wheat (1/2 water 1/2 milk, 1tbs Peanut Butter, 1-2tbs brown sugar)

Fall Wheat (1/2 water 1/2 milk, 1tbs molasses, 2-3tbs canned pumpkin, 1-2tbs brown sugar, cinnamon/nutmeg/cloves to taste)

Christmas Wheat (1/3 water, 2/3 eggnog, 1-2 tbs brown sugar, cinnamon/nutmeg/cloves to taste)

PowderHound and TreeNinja

I'm pretty much for any sugary cereal. So, lucky charms, alpha bits, cinnamon toast crunch and so on. Fuck yeah, sugar.

I've made over a hundred posts? How did this happen?
