Default Cigars

Anyone here like cigars? And I mean legit cigars, not weed or black&milds. I've been collecting a lot of rare/limited edition cigars for a couple years and smoke one every now and then. Kind of like the different flavors and smells that they get.

Anyone else? What are some of your favorite brands?

I know this sounds hokey, but there is this brand of cigar called Acid. They taste phenomenal! They have several different flavors this one is my favorite.

I've actually had a few of those in the past, my cousin loves them haha. Otherwise, not really a fan of flavor-infused cigars.

I love a good Cuban. Though technically "unavailable" in America, where there's a will, there's a way.

Ya know, the one Cuban I have had, I wasn't all that impressed. But then it was pretty dry and it started to unroll, which was the main cause of my dislike. So I can't really complain.

You can actually find some legal cuban pre-embargo cigars online or in some shops that stock them. I got a few of these for a steal: Camacho Pre-Embargo - Cigars International

Luckily I've been able to pick up some real cubans on vacations out of the country and bring em home, but quite honestly, you can get some very similar tasting (or better tasting) non-cuban cigars for much less. The hype is just because they're illegal, just like drugs and underage drinking lol

I'm by no means an expert, but we are about 5 miles from Canada so we used to run across the border to pick up Cohibas and some other cubans back in the day. I have had better cigars for sure.

I think the general sentiment among aficionados is that Cuban cigars aren't really all that impressive. Funny thing about nationalizing the industry... most of the families left and opened up shop in other Caribbean nations. But they are still popular on a cache that is 30-40 years old when they were the industry-leader.
