Spent a Sunday afternoon letting my beast's run free at the lake. It's pretty rare that both of them get to go anywhere together, and run loose. I walk them separately because at a combined weight of just under 200lbs. they are more then a hand full. It was mid 40's and overcast so I figured no one would be around the lake, it was completely deserted. I'm glad no one showed up, even though both dogs are friendly enough, because they are pit bulls they scare the shit outta people. Here's some pics of 2 very happy puppies.

I have a Mini-Dachshund(sp?). She's a tiny terror. LoL! But seriously, I either have to have a giant dog or a tiny dog. This time I went tiny. Like 10lbs tiny. She's got a good personality though, and is uber protective of her family, even though she can only bite your ankles. I'd comment on your dogs, but the pics don't show up on my work comp. I do love pits though. I've owned a few. They're great dogs.

Being a pitbull owner myself it is nice to find a spot you can actually let them loose without people snatching up their children and running for their lives like you just let starved lions loose.

JeffreyCH: Your pups look SO happy! I've known plenty of pit bulls and they've all been super dogs. When it comes to them, nurture seems to trump nature, imo.

I am currently dog-less but have had amazing dogs in my life: two Great Danes, a Newfoundland, a Chow/Lab mix, a Collie, and a (small) terrier mix. I'm a big dog person but small dogs have big personalities to make up for their size haha.

Fortunately my job exposes me to a lot of different dogs so I can get my canine fix!
