If you want something that always works, get the iphone. I did, and I can't say I regret it - itunes is just a matter of learning how it works (it's the lamest excuse ever by the android squad).

Droids are good for tinkering, but honestly, a phone needs to work 100%, 100% of the time, that's what the iphone does.

Ughhh i kinda regret to rebutle agaisnt BA... lol. (hopefully hell go easy.)

a new phones battery will always be better than your old phone... until its not... then what? you wont be popping that glass back off and put a new one in. Im guessing you didnt just come from the iphone 3g? becuase if you did you would know that as they go further down the IOS's that obsolete phones turn to garbage running new IOS's.

With android the send you upgrades over the air. no need to plug it in and download a 45 min update... and another 30+ minute install.
with android google will determine when your phone cant handle updates.
With android you dont need to jail break it just to add a new ringtone.
with android i can come to your house and plug it in to your computer and take whatever music videos i want. with needing itunes or idump or etc
with android i have widgets.

my 2 pennies... sorry touchy subject. not against BA just against Istuff.

except for the 4 which was a total piece of fucking garbage. you couldnt make a call without dropping it every 3 mins unless your standing next to a fuckin cell tower haha! but they did get it right with the 4S i must say...

I've got the iPhone 4 and can only complain about the coverage, but otherwise I'm happy with it. If your a mac user get the 4S, although I can comment on the battery time. If I use my phone a lot over the coarse of the day I have to plug it in every night.

Only problem with the iPhone iOS that when you change computers( mine crashed) you loose your entire iTunes if you want to update or add new songs from the new computer

I've had the Galaxy Nexus since its release date in December, and I have no doubt that it's the best phone currently available. Ice Cream Sandwich is a huge improvement over Gingerbread - aesthetically, reliably, and performance wise: everything has been excellent! It's never crashed, lagged, or gone haywire.

As of right now, my Nexus has been on battery for 1 day & 13 hours and I still have 10% left. What do I do for awesome battery life? I use WiFi all the time. It automatically joins my work and home networks, where I spend most of my time. When the phone is connected via WiFi, it disables the 3g and LTE radio, which use a lot more power than the WiFi radio. The battery holds up so well, I don't even charge it at night.

Apple strictly controls their hardware/software and how you use it. There are some good points to that and some bad. The bad has never set well with me. That's why I got an Android. HTC Evo to be exact. It doesn't lock me to specific software on my computer. It doesn't lock me to specific cables for date and charging. If I use the standard USB port on the phone to plug into any comptuer it shows up as a normal USB drive and I can do what ever I want. The $15 Verizon prepaid phone I bought while waiting my Evo (lost phone snowboarding) came with a charger that worked on my Evo.

i got the razr because i would have had to wait 2 weeks for the iphones to come back in stock, so i can go back this weekend and get one and return the android or should i keep it?

i use a mac so i thought icloud woud be nice, but i've been backing up all my files to google the last couple weeks and it's just as good with the exception that it's not all in one place.

the one problem with the razr is battery life- it sucks on this phone. i'm barely averaging 12 hours with the data off 90% of the time. i was turned off of by the galaxy nexus since it's only getting about 6 hours. besides this one problem it's an awesome phone, nonetheless.

the camera isn't as good as the iphones, but it's good enough for me i guess. hdr capture would be nice though.

theres an extended battery i can get, but then i lose the kevlar backplate and my phone case won't fit anymore. another benefit to the droid is the nanocoating- when i was outside earlier it was snowing and it was nice using my phone and not having to worry about it getting damaged by the moisture.

so back to my original question, what should i do? you guys make the decision for me!

I think this should be simple in your case because you already have a mac. Just ask yourself in terms of hardware, which is better, pc or mac?

Here is a benchmark, you can google for more

iPhone 4S Crushes Android Phones in Web Browsing Benchmark Results | News & Opinion | PCMag.com

Regarding updates, you can google it and you will find not all android phones get update. 4S can update over the air.

Also, some background not really related. Android was original developed to be like a blackberry so it still has some short coming because of that. The person in charge of Android at Google used to work for Apple. Some senior engineering staff also used to work at Apple. Apple has been working on small device for a long time. How long? Apple is one of the earliest customers/investors of the ARM chip that is used by all Android phone.

I don't know if anyone remember Apple II. Apple used to ship it with the OS(monitor) source code in the back of the printed menu. It ends up being cloned by everyone. Apple probably lost billions. It is understandable the way it manages things now.

I'm also thinking about going from my incredible to the Iphone. The fact is like PC there are just to many hand in the pot on the android side. I feel like there's no order so some phones suck others are great atleast with the Iphone you know what your getting and Apple will do everything for you to make sure you have the best updates etc. Where as with my current droid I get stupid ass OS updates that wont install... Updates that make my phone think it's out of memory space and stop receiving text and calls until I complete a hard reset loosing everything! Apple isn't as customizable but that's because they give you the best and you just have to love it for what it is. I'm also about to get a mac book sorry for the rant but I think I'm going to convert to being an apple whore sick of computers crashing!

Even though Flash will probably be phased out in 2 to 3 years (about the lifetime of a phone, right, so maybe it's still valid), not being able to run it on an iPhone makes browsing a total fucking pain in the ass. If you have a mac, I guess get the 4S.

But my 3GS crashed plenty of times and dropped calls quite frequently. I'd rather go with a high quality Droid phone. My Galaxy S2 has been pretty fuckin sick so far.
