AMD 1090t OC help - Snowboarding Forum

Hey for the comp guys out there,
I want to be able to OC my core to 4ghz. I currently have it at 3.6ghz and that is from using the AMD catalyst because I am to lazy to change the volts and myself, and I also don't want to fry my system or motherboard.
I am currently using an air cooler(Newegg.com - ZALMAN CNPS9900MAX-R 135mm Long life bearing CPU Cooler Red LED ) because I like having the back fan as an exhaust fan as well as the top. It pulls though the front side and bottom I believe. I don't want to use a water cooled system. I was thinking of a close loop system like the Corsair H50 or h70 but I am not sure if it will help anymore then the air cooler or if I should get the NH-D14.

I was wondering what cooler your guys are using and how far have you OC your core and is it 24/7 stable. With the cooler what volts and what are the temps of the core under stress, prim 95 or just stress from games. Whats the multiplier you are using

Computers page 3 first post currently at 4.2ghz and 24/7 stable

I believe my voltage is at 1.35v and at full load never see's anything above 58 Celsius

I would recommend the H70 but the Noctura is a great cooler as well and will run aprox up to 10 degree's hotter than the H70 according to tests.

I'm running a 955 on a Hyper 212+, 1.5v and stable at 4Ghz. 200Mhz with a multiplier of 20. Temperature isn't an issue, I don't know what it is but not too hot.
