Its the same story across the board when profit comes before EVERYTHING else. Food is just one of many areas that has gone rapidly downhill due to this value system.

I am optimistic that this year will see a big change in human beings value systems and then through applying those value systems we will begin to see a practical change in our societies (around the world).

Of course it will take time but I see signs of it beginning (don't look for that in main stream media cause you won't find anything but lies and BS).

Working like slaves all day long and eating shit food then coming home to watch mind numbing crap on TV is not IMO a highly evolved society.

Should've gotten an Oscar. Not many movies can make me fall off my chair laughing, but that is definitely one of them.

Idiocracy is a damned good movie. Lots of relevance these days unfortunately.

Slime is fuckin' nasty. I much prefer eating the cow that I spent 6 months trying to train as a draft animal (Bastard was too smart, and it got too cold, so it didn't work out) and I personally loaded into the trailer to be hauled to the local butcher.

Just drink more water, no color in the urine and a prenatal vitamin that is absorbed by the body close to 85% with no stomach upset
But then again the cool color urine is always amuzing...what the heck did I eat/drink

That's from riboflavin. Any (good) multi with a high level of B vitamins (or a B complex itself) will give that chartreuse colored urine. Prenatal vits are high in Bs. It's fine. Enjoy the amusement.

As for the OT, yet another reason I'm happy to be vegan. No slime for me

Brutal, but not surprising. I wonder if the Canadian FDA imposes any regulations that affect what's in our beef... Although I know that most steak-houses around here advertise "USDA beef" on their menus, so probably not.

As a 1st generation Canadian, it's interesting to note that everything my parents ate up until around my current age was ALL organic (by default, that is)...
