Hello,
My name is Alistair McLeay and I’m 15. I love snowboarding more than anything and aspire to get sponsored one day and have a future doing what I love. There is a snowboarding camp that runs at Snow Park in Wanaka, New Zealand this winter called FTB Park Rats that is the perfect opportunity for me. The camp costs $1095.00 and unfortunately my parents cannot afford to send me to the camp so I have built a tricycle to sell, and hopefully help to pay for some of the camp. Being able to go to this camp would really be a dream come true for me. I would really, really appreciate any support that you could give me, even just telling people about the auction would be so appreciated. The link to the auction is; Fundraising Tricycle - $1 RESERVE | Trade Me Thank you very much for taking the time to read this e-mail, Alistair McLeay |

Man when I was 15 I was in my second summer working at a gas station/restaurant making $7 an hour. I bought myself a boat that year, new bike, etc... With those long weeks I was taking home something like $250 a week! lol
Seriously, good luck with the sale but if you want something bad enough go out and earn it. The trike is a neat idea but that's not going to get you anywhere near the $1100 unless somebody is feeling very charitable. And I'm not sure if I considering snowboard camp to be charity!

Good luck with it. As a parent that told my kid who was 14...great you want to go to camp you got to come up with at least half the $...she went 3 years, by mowing yards, pet/baby/house sitting, painting houses, cleaning and etc. Point is you will probably do better by just asking for work around the neighborhood and family friend. And btw she has been paying for her season's pass since 6th grade.
