Husky owners should recognize

My girlfriend was complaining about all my 5 year old Siberian huskies fur in the house and saying I don't brush him enough and I'll admit I don't. This was a good solid 5-10 minutes of brushing and about all the longer I could hold him still. Looks like I killed and skinned him instead of just brushing him and there is plenty more left. Its crazy how much fur is I that sub-coat!

 i looked at the pic before looking at your message and I instantly thought it was snow only to find out it was fur. lol.

Post a pic of your husky, I used to have one a few months ago but had to give it away since I wasn't able to give it the attention it really needed.

Beautiful dogs and great to see them so well cared for.

We have a 16 month old german shepherd that sheds like that. Funny thing is that she is as dumb as any dog i have ever seen. A real airhead. I have had lots of sheprhers but none this goofy...

You could hold him down for 5-10 minutes ?:thumbsup: I could barely hold mine for 5 max. Mine (Silver Trace) looked very much like yours... just a darker grey/white mix with a stunning wolf head - an ex-show dog. Shed just as bad. Do what I did... collect the hair, make a pillow.

Oooooh all beautiful dogs, next dog I'm planning on getting will be a Siberian.

What is the consistency of their fur like? I took care of a rottweiler/lab mix for a couple years and her fur was awful. Not only was there tons of it, she would get that matted underfur layer and it would just soak up dirt like a sponge. she was like a greasy Italian  She was 85% rott for sure, labs don't have that gross fur.
