It can be if you consider that a clutch of eggs will take 6-13months to hatch and that chameleons aren't really all that exciting to most people. I do plenty of exciting things and I like to have hobbies that are relaxing and don't require potentially life threatening situations. Aside from that it's some what profitable, but not really.

Now that the snow is gone we can turn our attention to projects like this. Now to the untrained eye this may look like the back end of a boat. But to the trained eye one can see that beautiful Mahogany plank just refinished and installed.

Of course cant forget the "Minor Investment"...Yup..$7.85 for a fresh new coat of paint bottom paint..

Now all we need is the fish...which we will begin prospecting this Wednesday thru Sunday..

It is an awesome trip through a desert canyon with hot 100F + temps and the river is super clean, clear water with fun rapids and great sandy beaches for incredible camps on warm summer nights. The skies in central Oregon are incredibly dark so stargazing is phenomenal!

We flew down to Crater Lake for the day:

The brand new 2003 turbocharged Cessna 182 I used to fly in Phoenix, Arizona.
The power of this plane was awesome and had a service cieling of 22,000 feet!

Grand Canyon trip:

Here in the Pacific Northwest the flying, even with my instrument rating is dicey in the winter so I do not dread the coming of summer. Between my hiking, flying and rafting, I barely have time for a job... Besides with Timberline, I still get to summer shred.
Those are some pretty awsome pictures Snowolf, I would love to do a trip like that.

Default new off season hobby

The wife and I just bought a '05 Fleetwood Niagara pop up camper tonight. Being old, we got tired of schlepping a tent around and being on the ground. Great price and like new condition couldn't be passed up. We'll still be spending our spare time in the great outdoors but just won't be sliding down any hills. Unless I forget to place the wheel chocks. Anyone know how to link turns in a runaway trailer?
