morning back pain - help?
So I know I may be better off googling (and I have) but I wanted to ask this community, as I'm guessing we all have somewhat-similar active lifestyles.
Every morning for the past couple of months I've been waking up with lower back pain. Its not crazy painful but it does wake me up (usually) an hour - two hours before my alarm goes off for work. This is annoying.
I've tried sleeping with a pillow between my legs, underneath my knees when I'm on my back and avoiding sleeping on my stomach (but I think I turn over onto my belly when I'm dead asleep and I don't realize it).
Anyways, have any of you had this problem? Or something similar? I'm tossed between seeing a massage therapist, chiropractor, or both. Any thoughts?
I'm 24 years old, male. I work at a desk for most of the day but I do exercise regularly (mostly running, basic calisthenics. I'm not much of a gym guy). I'm planning on starting yoga soon, which I did last year around this time in anticipation of the winter season.
Any help/advice would be awesome, thanks.
