Default Economy comparison

This is not another "depression" thread, this is more orientated to compare if different parts of the country are better off than the others. As far as Florida goes this is a service/tourism State and ever since the real state market crash things are really bad. The retires are keeping all their money and barely spending any, in Ft.Lauderdale we used to get a lot of tourism specially during the winter months, but this year was horrible. I really don't know how many business are going to manage to stay open during the off season. And to add to the problems here the cost of living in Florida is just to high.

My aunt lives in Boulder, CO, I was talking to her last night and she tells me that over there it is nothing like down here. She told me that yes the economy slowed down, but there is plenty of money still going around.
