AR15 Flip Zoom - Snowboarding Forum

I'm looking for a flip multiplier for my Bushmaster ORC. I was just wondering what the most powerful flip multiplier is. I can only seem to find 3x. But I was wanting something a little more powerful. I wanted the red dot 4x and then hopefully something to magnify it to at least 8x.

Or if there is a side flip up acog which to my knowledge there isn't.

I bet the mounting isn't tight on that. A lot of RIS mounted attachments that use that quick release have issues with wobbling. In the end, you get what you pay for. Look for some reviews of people that used it and see what they think. I wouldn't buy a sightmark product and I use EOTech on my guns. Its worth the money to get the quality they provide. For the zoom you want, I would go with a true scope though. You could get a 3 to 9x zoom and would do the same thing you are looking for.

I have a EOTech Flip to side 4x for my shorty to use with my XPS, but with a 16” and longer barrel I use this http://www.leupold.com/tactical/scopes/vx-r-patrol/ I use this to I can reach out and touch someone, plus I also use it for 3gun on my DPMS rifle. I don’t see the need for anything over 4x with a EOTech you know that center dot is covering more then you need it to a 400 meters. Now don’t get me wrong I can hit stuff at 700 all day with the 4x on but I can’t see the splash.
