Apple fanboys crack me up. You can go up to Boulder and see Subaru after Subaru with all kinds of "green" stickers right beside their Apple sticker while Apple consistently gets called out as one of the 10 least green companies out there. Those are the same people who are anti-corporate this and anti-corporate and all anti-establishment while they rock their iPhones made by a company that's worth more than the majority of entire countries.
Those people are brainless fucking morons.

Isn't this in use already? Off the top of my head I can name 3 buildings on my school campus that kill your reception as soon as you get in the vicinity. This seems like it's just taking that and scaling it up.
Not that I like it, but it seems like Apple is a little late to the party here. |

My guess is that this patent was spawned because Apple has been trying to work out a government contract with the US government for sometime now. The main problem they have had so far is that they have trouble encrypting said devices, but with something like this it certainly makes it easier to control aspects of the device that could not be ensured on simply word alone in certain areas.
In the civilian sector this seems like a severe breach of ownership and privacy of the device. It is pretty shitty. |
