TGR Forums Question - Snowboarding Forum

Does anyone know anything about their forums? I signed up only because they have a large Interior of British Columbia thread going and a handful of people from my area. Though when ever I post a quoted reply to something it says mods have to approve...... and then I never see my post again. Just curious if anyone knows the process of there?

I'm not sure what the process is there these days. I've been a member there for over a decade. Until recently my work was blocking the forums due to a malware issue they had over a year ago. I haven't posted much there since I got access back. You might try pming Advres. He used to work for TGR and used to be an admin on that forum. So he might be able to lead you in the right direction or fix your problem. The Suit was the other main guy, but I am pretty sure he is long gone.

The forums there have little to no moderation. Always have. Hence the junk show, but that is part of the appeal of the site.

If I stumble upon who is watching the site, I'll pass it along. You may also want to check your spam email folder. The response you are getting sounds an awful lot like what happens here when people don't click the activation email link.

I have an account with less than 100 posts of there but have been lurking for years. It is a different animal, and not necessarily a forum community that caters to beginners in any of the sports they discuss over there.

Don't take it personally if people are assholes to you there, just kinda the way it goes.
