... dropped $150 on a pair of Sims. I put them on and it was like the angels started singing. lol They felt so good. I do still have some gap on either side of the tongue, but I am ok with that for now. They fit great otherwise. I am still getting a small amount of heel lift, so looking into fixes for that.
Yup!! Good fitting boots make ALL the diff!! Glad you found a pair that work well for you! I didn't have your fit problems & I still had to go thru 3 pairs before I found the 4th that fit & didn't absolutely KILL
...I have done lessons all 4 days up there. When I go back on Saturday I get my season pass. Then we are heading up to South Tahoe first week of Feb to celebrate the wedding anniversary. Our season passes here will get us up to 10 free days at Sierra.
OMG,.. learning to SB in the Sierra's??? You didn't tell us that! I am S-O-O-O Jealous!!
(Season's been kinda crappy here in MI. with only one real snow event so far and now,.. it's actually gonna b 55˚ this weekend!!!
...Could not go more than 10 feet without falling. I felt completely uncoordinated. I could not make my head, shoulders, hips, knees, feet all work together that day...and he was no help. He kept yelling out things that got me all flustered and confused. But, I am no quitter. lol I got through the entire hour and a half lesson even with all the falls.
...don't worry too much about that. If you read some of the other posts around here you;ll see that almost EVERYBODY has an off day!! I started this season, way more sketchy and clumsier than I did at the start of last season, & last was my first full season! I managed to get it back & now I'm getting some new tricks dialed in!! It'll come back to you better than before, I'm sure of it!
I am still losing weight, the only downside is that the brand new snow pants I got are too big now. I had to ghetto rig them with my sewing machine. lol
Pretty much says it!!!! (...glad you didn't bail on us!!
