Well as I am getting to leave to FAU to talk with a professor, I decide to check my email first. And to my surprised I have like 3 email from FAU. I appears that at about 1 am a shooting broke out, thank God it appears that no one died, but I think someone was injured. They really don't go into details on the emails.

Then the email goes on to state that the school is in complete lock down until further notice. Fortunately I already finished all my finals yesterday, but this week is finals week and there are a lot of student who haven't finished finals. Now I bet all this tests are going to have to be rescheduled, that kind of sucks if you studied your ass of for a test.

As far as I am concerned for the public school sector you're only allow to carry a gun in Utah. But Florida is a mess, there are so many small gangs developing and the lack of jobs has made matters worse. I believe FT.Lauderdale has about 3 homicides a day.

And you are right this incident probably saved some students life, allowing them more time to for cramming.

The right to bare arms is a great privilege in this country. There are complete idiots out there that need to be castrated and most of the time you can trace it back to people not have good parents honestly. Most people are stupid in America and think it's cool to have a gun and then are able to use it for protection. Aghh I don't mean to rant but it really pisses me off when people are stupid with guns. I am sorry to hear about FAU and hopefully they can clean up the gangs and what not.

I guess I can be lenient in this case... but you must admit, the quality of "education" being produced by our public schools really leaves a lot to be desired. I guess they're (teachers) too busy pushing a liberal (communist) agenda instead of teaching what kids need to know to make a living in this world.

It's not a privilege, its a God given RIGHT and is is (supposed) to be protected from the Government by the Bill of Rights. (read the Bill of Rights, it places limitation on the government, it does not grant anything to 'We the people')

and yes, there are @ssholes everywhere who make firearm ownership look bad, just like anything else in this world. Responsibility is what's missing in every facet of society now days.. and it seems like the only answer is 'more laws'.. obviously, if you look at the trend, it doesn't help.

When I say privilege I am referring to the laws. The laws require background check and everything else before you are handed a gun legally. It pisses me off when guns are obtained illegally. How many times is a gun that is legally owned and the owner fires and kills someone over stupid crap? That is what I mean when I say privilege. Trust me I know the laws.
