Arrow So bored.... There's nothing to do.....

So summer is here and I am looking into some sort of sport to get into. Granted I hate team sports, I have looked into Kite boarding but guess what, the windy season is over in South Florida gggrrrrr. Wake boarding is way to expensive, who can afford a boat in my salary, so what to do? . The funny thing is that the kite boarding place says that theres plenty of winds in the summer, but you go in forums and they claim winds die.

Not even long boarding there's nowhere to do it, surfing no waves, there's nothing to do in Florida this place is fucking dead (unless you have a lot of $$$).

I am going to have to start body building, not my favorite cup of tea but I guess it'll do for now, till I can find something else to waste the money I don't have on. My body needs a tuneup anyway all those chocolate I have been consuming are starting to pile up.

Scuba diving is fun and everything, but it lacks the speed and rush that most board sports have. As for the sharks part goes, we get some but not that much here. I guess thats kind of a good thing, considering tourism is one of the main source income for South Florida.

well, it's not wakeboarding or kiteboarding, but everyone around my area plays disc golf. i don't know if it's popular at all down in florida, or if there's even courses down there for it, but you could try it out. the nice thing about it is that it's basically free. all you have to do is buy a disc. we always put a case of beer and a sack of green in a backpack and drink and smoke while we play. i swear they might as well make it legal to smoke and drink on disc golf courses, cause everyone does completely openly and in front of anyone who might be there.

hhhmmmm I smell Thoris written all over this.... lol jocking

I would probably enjoy it a lot, but the thing is that I am looking for something I can enjoy on a daily basis and without having to dump $$$ every day, kite surfing worked great in that case, it's just an initial investment of $1400.00 and after that the air and water are free.

So ill keep looking but thanks for the sugestion.

I need to get my degree and move out of this dump state, it's so fucking dead.

Thumbs up

well I am in college so gym is free... And thats exactly what I just did, I always have a hard time getting started in the gym, but once I go the first time I good to go.

Men I am so out of shape is unbelievable...

I also found out that Florida has two out of 8 cable water ski centers in the world and one is 15 minutes from my house. So tomorrow I am of to try it lets hope everything is cool and I can get into that. I could also do it almost every day since it's on my way to college. yayyyyyyyy

I am so tired after the gym session and I got class till 10 pm
