I play games so that is why i went with the 17 inch and 256MB Nivida card. Tell me what you guys think.

mostly for gaming and internet. I dont really carry my laptop to alot of places. So its weight and size is not to much of a factor

Very nice. You can't go wrong with a dell. And yes, that will run vista AND your games just fine. That awful shared video memory you had on the last laptop was no good.

I think with the coupon he paid $820 shipped or something around there, the video card is the reason that the price goes up so much. I think the video card alone is like $150, but he would have to verify that.

I think without the coupon it would be around $1,100.

To be honest the part that I like is the 17" screen, my laptop is a 13.3" and at times I find it to be to small.
