I've been floating around on the forum all day and it's honestly been pretty boring.
I say we need to have a thread that is just silly utter nonsense. Does anyone have a pointless topic they would like to discuss?

me and the engineer with the office next to me were wandering around in the aluminizing department (not our department) and we got yelled at for getting to close to some molten aluminum. i had a salad for lunch, it was pretty good. it's a nice day out. 70 degrees and sunny. i think i'll play disc golf when i get off work in 45 minutes. what should i eat for dinner tonight? if you're bored, click on the link in my sig down there. |

So I have been trying to save money every way I can, I am only working 3 nights a week and studying 4 nights a week. One big expense I have is gas, so I have found many ways of saving gas, but mostly they involve driving like a 80 year old drives. Yes I have been getting a lot of horns, flashing headlight and fingers, but FUCK THEM ALL, over all I am getting great gas out of this tank.
Usually I hit half a talk with 220 miles, yesterday I hit half a tank with 260 miles. A full tank usually lasts me a week, the way this one is going, it's going to last me either 10 or 11 days. Over all I am very happy with the results. Florida drivers are always in a rush to get nowhere, bunch of idiots is what they are. Of course if I had more money I would be part of them .Ohh I really don't feel like getting another job, so I will find ways to save money through the summer. Another bonus is that my car is probably really happy about me treating him nice for once .

Ah saving gas. I've been parking my car at the the RTD park and ride and taking the lightrail into work since the past summer. Unfortunately, it no longer seems like I am saving money on gas. The good thing is I can go a week and a half on a half tank of gas by only have to drive to the park and ride (3-4 miles maybe). I know it also saves me about 5-6 tanks of gas a week. Of course there is the weekend and I definitely have to fill up at least once if not twice to go do things like snowboarding. Still, some money is being saved. Thought is $6 a gallon gas is coming by the end of the summer. So hold on to your hats...

You all fail Danimal's request. THIS is what he wanted;
If a tap dancing baby Jesus took off his tap dancing shoes and put on a blue tutu then decided to convert to Buddhism, would he still be able to perform miracles? And if he could, would he still perform the traditional biblical miracles? If he couldn't perform miracles, what would he then do? Discuss in haiku format

^^^^^ The wakeboarding cable park is half way to my school, so I will hit the park on a school day, that way I don't go out of my way for my hobbies. The only thing I do on the weekends is to the beach and back home, but I believe that I deserve a nice day at the beach a week. It costs me about $5 in gas and $5 in parking plus food to go on Saturday for 3 hours to the beach.
After that I go back home take a shower and leave to work. |
