My my first name is Chris, and since there are too many of those in the world, people started calling me "chris sedition" to parse me out from all the other "Chris'" out there. That eventually just got shortened to "sedition."

Nick North, or just North, which is not my real name. (Nick is my real first name). Anyway, I used to live in northern Michigan and moved to lower Michigan. My new friends started calling me Nick North to differentiate me from the other Nick in the group. I liked it much better than my real name, so when I moved again, and again, I told people that was my real name. Some of my friends have no idea that North isn't my last name. (I plan to change it to North permanently next year).
