Haha I started to have the 1-2 upshift problem anyway so I wasn't too sad that I sold it.

I'm always on the lookout for an 06+ R6 or 07+ 600RR, but I shouldn't really buy a bike since I just bought a new car.

The 636 was an awesome bike though. I loved that thing even though 2nd gear was always 1 50/50 chance!

Hah. I dunno if you I was telling about this or not, but I had on 04 R6 which was stolen, and then an 03 R1 which was also stolen (pics below). The 02 / 03 R1 and R6 had the best the throttle bodies Yamaha ever made. I don't know why they changed them. The result was an almost sensually smooth power delivery and throttle response. I've been riding bikes since I was a little kid, and I've never felt anything like those two (esp the R1, cause you didn't have to shift as much). As soon as I am done with the bar exam, it's time to go bike shopping again.
