Question What MPG's are you getting

I drive a Mazda 6 if I drive very slow I can get 28.6mpg mixed driving, on a normal driving style I get about 24.5 mpg.

I use regular gas, thank god, since premium is like 35 cents extra.

Believe it or not, I can get 30 mpg highway in my Mustang...did it on a 5 hour trip with the cruise set at 70 the whole way.

I'm not sure about city though...I'd imagine it's probably low 20s, if not lower.

I haven't filled up in about 4 weeks though, since I'm able to walk everywhere on campus or take the bus, so gas prices aren't hurting me yet--that is, until winter rolls around and I have to drive an hour to go boarding!

I average 20mpg tank to tank in my Rodeo. (this includes weekly runs up the mountain for some riding)

eta: I'll be riding my Harley more now that the weather is nice.. that gets me 40mpg

i get about 25-26 or so out of my outback.

not bad but i'm trying to get a motorcycle. the wife is NOT having that right now. not trying to get anything fast or cool. just something good on gas that will save miles on my car. that $1000 investment could potentially save a lot of cash in the long run. but the wife thinks i am going to kill myself.

i've considered riding my bike to work since its only 11 miles but the roads i would have to travel on make me nervous. way too busy...

^^^^^I wish I saved my pictures of my two accidents in a bike, I have to say I am lucky to be alive and I also lost a good friend to a bike accident.

I am sorry to say this but I have to agree with your wife , don't get a bike!!!.Remember most of the accidents are not your fault, the problem is the people around you. Although in my case they were both my fault, my stupid young ass!!!

Also $1000 bike will break a lot, trust me been there done that, they are not good investments.

My 04 Ranger with the 3.0L and the 5 speed gets 20-22 highway depending on terrain and wind. Hills slow me down a little and not having 4X4 sucks now and then getting to work at Meadows, but with these gas prices, I am glad its not 4X4.
