Scientist. Money is good, not as much free time as I would like, but not being able to work from home (clinical stuff) means that my weeks end on Friday (usually) which opens up the weekend for boarding.

Bad part is that you have to work with idiots. You wouldn't believe the stupidity of some of the people doing the R&D here. Seriously.

My company goes around the country decommissioning power transformers and mostly interior demolitions of power plants... I do the AR/AP among a bunch of other things...Its a great job with great hours however I am very limited on vacation time however I am happy to have a job!

How are those PCBs working out for you?!?

lol no seriously I worked on a landfill excavation project that had old transformers in it, PCBs everywhere... I haven't grown a 3rd leg, yet.

LOL...honestly we are doing quite well with PCBs...this day and age we are encountering fewer and fewer units that contain 10 PPM let alone over 50..but if in fact we do find PCB units we are compensated for any disposal...love to see someone that actually knows something about em as I act as one of my hats at the company is to do the testing and I then get to bore my wife with the details

I'm not glowing in the dark just yet ;-)

Yeah I guess they stopped really using them years ago so hopefully we're getting safer and safer. So many people hear something like PCBs or Asbestos and freak right out! As long as you know how the substance acts, they're actually relatively safe to handle...

The company I work for is a general that handles a lot of heavy civil work (building/rehabbing bridges which can contain asbestos conduits, new highway construction, airport concrete construction, shave and paves, eart works, and general road rehabs. But a lot of times if we run into something funny, like asbestos, most other contractors or our subs go running away with their tails between their legs! We go out and get the training, and use our own crews to do the work. Makes my job as a safety guy fun!

I heard they used to fry fish in PCB oil in Japan.

fairies are outrageously funny at times....princesses are a pita...I like to piss them off or just piss on them...they are boring and predictable....mermaids might be alright...but they would just soon drown your ass.

Lan Administrator.. Engineer... I don't do shit on most days.. but still manage to do more than my coworkers..
Schedule is real chill.. i can leave whenever i want and head to the hill.. vacation whenever i want.. 2 min ride to work.
