Astronomy Picture of the Day
You can go down to the Archive and see each days posting, or the Index to see different categories of pics. Just browse through it, there are so many amazing pics of our universe.
And sorry about the picture, in point of fact, I was too lazy to reduce it, plus that galaxy is huge so I thought perspective might help ;-)

To get a screenshot, hit the PrintScreen button, then open up the Microsoft Paint program (Start>All Programs>Accessories Paint should be in the list.)
You should then be able to click on the screen and then just hit Ctrl+V to paste in into the screen. Now go up to File>Save As and then save it as a jpeg.
Then you can upload it to your account (if this site lets you host pictures, I have no idea?) or one of those photobucket sites and then link the image.
Hope that was what you were looking for Sno.

I know, I love these creatures and I am glad that state game departments are helping them make a comeback in the west.
Arizona, Idaho, Montana and now Washington have reintroduction programs to get them restored in the natural habitats that
we hunted them to exinction in. Like the Buffalo, we almost lost these beautiful creatures.

I don`t know what you mean, that`s just me in the morning before coffee or fighting in the politics thread....

Actually, even in packs when hunting, they are really not a threat to humans unless we fuck with them. There are next to no confirmed reports of attacks by game departments. In the frontire days, there were some problems with them ransacking camps for food, but that was more of a result of people not keeping clean camps. On the whole, deer and elk attack humans more than wolves do. They have really gotten a bad rap from myth and superstition. All predators like wolves, bears and mountain lions must be shown a proper level of respect. I have hiked in Alsaka and been in close proximity to both wolf packs and grizzlies and never had a bad encounter.

That's because you are part of their system , you know I am just joking . Then I guess it's more of the threat the movies built that gives them that reputation.
