Fireworks?!?!

So with July 4 around the corner, I am starting to notice fireworks in the stores and I was wondering what you guys think about them.

Personally I love lighting them more than I like watching them. Most of my family are excited about them but on the visual factor.

Oh come on TJ you know you wanna have a Roman Candle fight with me. I remember we were setting off fireworks at a field party two summers ago and the next mornign me and a budd of mine were up before everyone else and we started to burn the trash from the party including the firework bodies, so me and my friend walk away from the fire and all the sudden this ball from a roman candle flys out of the fire right past us. That was a little nuts. Lesson learned don't burn fireworks

Sweet Tap Dancing Baby Jesus Christ It's Dogzira!!!!!! Eh.

i love fireworks. i think i prefer a bottle rocket fight over a roman candle fight, when you get one to pop right next to your buddy's ear, ah so rewarding. anyone ever seen that video of the little dog that picks up a lit roman candle in its mouth then runs around a bunch of people while it's shootin off. funny stuff.

Being a bit of a pyro I love fireworks! My oldest brother goes to this fireworks wholesaler every year and blows around $800 on fireworks. They end up being pretty much the same as the ones you see at major events...and yes my oldest is stupidly rich enough that he can afford to waste that kind of cash. Pretty cool as he's been doing up at his cottage on the same weekend in August for about 8 years now and a lot of people on his lake usually come out in their boats and sit in front of his place to watch the show.

Roman candle fights when I was a kid was sooo fun...and that was back when we used dynamite for fireworks...and we liked it!!

They're illegal in a good chunk of California too. Can't buy 'em anywhere near SF, you have t drive about and hour and a half to buy 'em, and then cross your fingers that the cops don't care when you're setting 'em off.
