believe the hype everyone. i saw this movie last night, and it was amazing. you really forget that you're watching a batman movie and it just feels like an epic crime movie. it is such a shame that heath ledger passed, becuase he is just rediculous in that movie, makes jack nicholson's joker look mediocre at best. all the other acting is top notch also. i really can't think of a single weak point, except maybe that it had to end.

on a side note, we walked into "wanted" afterwards because it was about to start and we thought we'd just catch a second flick for free. that movie is absolutely terrible. i think the only reason it might be entertaining is to make fun of it with your friends afterwards. oh, and you get to see angelina jolie's backside

My friend saw it and said that the movie was amazing.

personally I am waiting to next week to go see it in Imax, the reason why I have to wait is because I have finals this week and I need to study for a couple of hard ones.

But thanks for the input, the more that I want to go see it now.

Top notch performances all the way around I thought. Aaron Eckhart was also great as Harvey Dent/Two Face. I thought his arc as Two Face was a little short as that is one of Batman's greater rogues. It worked very well within the scheme of things. The Joker was outstanding and menacing. Heath did a great job of bringing the Jokers chaotic personality to screen. One of the best movies of the summer without a doubt.

i avoided the dark knight crowds this weekend and saw Wanted. amazing movie. go catch it on the big screen if you haven't seen it yet.

Saw the movie last night, unfortunately Imax was sold out for the next week, so we just went to the regular theater. The movie is unbelievable, great performance out everyone in the picture. ledger performance was incredible, what an amazing actor he was. I have to say that I am not much into action movies, but this movie blew my mind away, very creative, it also carries a bit of humor in it.

I saw it in IMAX last week and it was unreal. The movie was amazing, both visually stunning and intellectually stimulating on many levels. The character development was excellent. Go check it out if you haven't already.

I'd have to agree with everyone. Best movie I have seen in a while. Heath Ledger's performance was definately Oscar worthy. I was blown away by the movie and just like Gustov said you really forget that you are watching a comic book based movie. The only time I was disappointed was when it had to end.

Not really that amazed, it sort of pissed me off. The thing is that they didn't shot the whole movie in Imax cam, so it keeps changing from Wide screen to imax cam, it gets very annoying fast. Sounds on the other hand are fantastic, they got to have the best audio of any theater I been too.
