I went to Crestline today so I could take my 3 year old to play in the fresh Pow. He loved it. I can only imagine what it woulda been like in Big Bear. Apparently it was 18+ inches. It was wonderful from where I was, and I wasn't even hig enough up the mountain... I just hope another storm lke this hits soon before my work schedule gets too busy.

Oh, and Dorner is the Black Rambo or Django. I've worked in the ubliic safety field for 8+ years and have experienced many of the same things he complains of. its not just LAPD, tho. Its the country in general. The ones who are the most rascist are the ones who pretend it doesn't exist.

The LAPD has been one of the most corrupt police departments in the nation since that shit stain Darrel Gates was chief and it has not gotten any better. I totally concede that point. Some of the very same people with this attitude of condemning all police officers as evil are the same people who often vehemently scream the loudest about "supporting the troops" when someone point out the very few bad apples in America's military who have done far more heinous atrocities to innocent Iraqui civilians. Where is this sense of patriotism when it comes you first responders who do just as heroic job as the majority of the awesome members of our military?

Bad cops and bad soldiers need to be reported, tried and convicted for their crimes but in both cases, keep in mind that we should not condemn the good ones because of a few bad apples. I work with several Portland Police officers at the mountain and we have all gone shooting together at the indoor range in the basement of the Public Safety busing and from my experience, these are just my neighbors working a job to support their families and pursue the same things in life we all do. They put up with risks and shit that few of us would ever consider for a wage that is really criminal it is so low!

I hope this guy just disappears and LA is left to deal with their cops.

I just think that we are constantly moving toward a point beyond all our knowledge and reason and technology where the gnashing of teeth will come to our streets too and only then will change even be seen on the horizon.

I don't support this guy at all but I am at heart a bit of an anarchist. Good thing they shot that BLUE TOYOTA a million times!

If I lived in LA I would certainly have an equally high mix of anger and fear of the police, because I'm a criminal? no, because I'm a asian paperlady.

edit: also I support our troops but maybe not the no-accountability-police-force-PTSD FUNNEL that the Armed Forces have become in the last 10 years, I honestly wonder if the sandbox isn't just a training ground for making sure we can turn ANYTHING into a police state at a moments notice.

Sorry but the 2 cases of "mistaken identity" is fucking bullshit. This isn't the wild west where you shoot first and ask questions later. The citizens should be OUTRAGED at these 2 cases of attempted murder by cops.

These pigs got "paid administrated leave". Oh damn, that must suck. How about instead of gun control we have law enforcement control. Maybe some real accountability while we're at it?

People shouldn't have to live in fear because they drive a similar vehicle, end of story.

My flavor of anarchy is only for the "haves"...maybe revolution is the right word but I really think its gonna take some destruction and misery.

I'm not saying this guy is justified, but imagine the world in extremes, you want to punish someone bad, someone evil, but not kill them cuz you wanna make em suffer, killing their relatives would be a good start. Things go like this every day all over the world, it just sounds so unreal to our insensitive sensitivities that it could be coming from our back yard.

edit: I've watched a bunch of Korean vengeance cinema the last couple years(Oldboy and I Saw the Devil, in particular), highly recommend if anyone is interested, shit is really mindfucky and awesome.

What everyone is missing is that, he isn't getting revenge, he's waging WAR. Once you differentiate the two, then you'll realize his killings were justified.
