Little guys first attempt

http://youtu.be/D_xHrruJNvY

The board and bindings were bought for my 4yo daughter. She wanted nothing to do with it. My boy kept saying my turn my turn so I strapped him in....

He rode the kids area at our local spot about 20 times before we went tubin. He will turn 2 on Saturday.

He is so small for his age, it will be a long time before any " normal" gear will fit him. I am going to add foam in the bindings to see if I can get him some heel side control....

HE talks about going again already!

Sorry for the purple hue, his mom is not savvy with that camera.

Awesome.

I am pretty excited that he was liking it. he just kept saying again, again...

I would just pick him up,board and all and carry him back up. He fell at speed once, and just laughed and said I fall. Do it again!

I was surprised his sister didn't get mad and want to try again, she is competitive that way.

Now that we are home she wants to go give it a try. He just watches the video over and over on his mom's phone and tells me he wants to go again.

it was supposed to snow in Indy yesterday. It started to snow but turned to freezing rain.

My little guy saw the snow start falling and asled to watch this video again, then talked all night about going snowboarding again!

I am pretty excited for him to get a little bigger and be able to ride witn me.

This makes me rethink not taking my twin 2-year-olds out for their first trip yet this year. I cut out some pretend snowboards out of cardboard that they play with around the house (yes once they did try to ride them down the stairs) so I bet they'd have a lot of fun if I took them for real. I just wonder about finding the right size of equipment for them.
