We have 2 dogs. A Portugese Water Dog, and a mix we picked up from the shelter. Here is a great shot of the PWD in Tuckermans Ravine in early November.

i don't have a dog, but my kids really want to get one. i think pits are the best dogs ever, so we'll probably get a pit. but i also want a yorkshire terrier. i think they're the cutest & animated as hell...really fun lil pups!

you have to be fucking kidding me.... that is BS

In south Florida several counties banned the dogs, Miami-dade banned them a couple of years ago. Their claim was that there was severe animal cruelty towards them. So most of the people come to Broward county to buy them and then they keep them illegally in their houses down there.

That aside, a pit almost ripped my arm off when I was a child, it was my cuz dog, but the dog used to love me. What the vet told us is that as the dog got old he lost his vision and his sense of smell deteriorated. By the time the dog attacked me be barely recognized my cuz. He got even more aggressive after the attack so they had to put him to sleep.
