disagree. DiCaprio is good as always and Baz Luhrmann is a genius but you have to be into that sort of thing. Are there any other original script (albeit omissions) shakespeare movies that you DO like? I enjoyed the cinematographic adaptation alot.
The 90's Romeo and Juliet is one of my favorite movies. It's one of the few that if I catch it on TV I have to watch the rest.
I actually hated this movie when I first saw it as a younger man, but I happened to see it again last year and really enjoyed it.
I do agree that Titanic sucked balls. With DiCaprio's movies I either really like them or completely hate them and I think some of it has to do with who's in the movie with him. Catch Me If You Can and Gangs of New York are awesome (Hanks and Walken; Daniel Day Lewis); Titanic and The Aviator completely blow. In fact I came in here to say that I thought Eyes Wide Shut was the worst movie I've ever seen, but after typing this I think it might have to be The Aviator.
Fucking 4 hours of my life that I can never get back and for what? Some broad I was dating when I was 19? Add to that The Beach. Another Leo masterpiece. If you guessed same girlfriend, you'd be right.
I dated that chick.
