So there I was enjoying my LARGE frapuchino and doing some HW in my computer and what happens?????
Yes I drop all the coffee on top of my laptop and my cellphone(remember I am broke, can afford a new nothing :laugh). So my panicky nature gets up and starts running from one end of the library to the bathroom to get something to dry my equipment with. Mean while I put my computer upside down ontop of my shirt. So you have a Spanish shirtless guy running in the library panicking . So next thing everyone is screaming and causing this big commotion in the library, so the library employees call security, luckily I get back to my computer and I am not sure how but I manage to dry it all up and it seems to be working fine, I guess time will tell (my cell on the other hand is acting up, its only a month old ).Well back to the story , so I have this big audience and my work station is a fucking mess, so I am trying to clean everything. Then it happens the university security get to were I was, and they see me still shirtless (my shirt is a fucking mess) they tell me to put it on and go with them. So I put it on and I am trying to tell them the story, but of course the fucking idiots wont listen anything I say. Long story short, I get a disorderly conduct ticket for $50 bucks I think not sure and then let me go. Now I am back in the library smelling like frapuchino and waiting for my next class. I am going to take the ticket to the dean tomorrow, I just made and appointment. On the bright side, my computer although stick and smelly seem to be operational .Well that's my contribution for the day. enjoy |

Just a thought, why didn't you just grab your laptop and take it to the washroom, holding it upside down the whole time, and then dry it off there? I commend you for sacrificing the shirt, but I think you panicked and went way too far. At least that's what I expect the dean will ask you about tomorrow.
Funny story, thanks for sharing a not so stellar moment.

haha if it makes you fell any better i showed up to my class at 1, and turns out it was at 12 so i missed. then got home to realise i locked myself out of my room so have had to kick my door in for the third time this year...its not looking so secure anymore. one day ill learn.
but yea that would be funny to see. when i was in the library a couple of weeks ago a bunch of guys came in wearing tutu's and did a little ballet run through the library that was a good laugh. |

well the good news is that I talked to the dean and he dismissed the ticket as well as he is going to investigate the security staff incharged of the problem.
The bad news is that it cannot happen again ![]() ![]() . He claimed that he usually lets students with good records get away with little problems such as this one on the first time. The other bad news is that this damn computer is all sticky underneath the keyboard, the keys take a little while to regain their position. In all it was a good story .Oh my cell is doing fine, |
