on the cheap...PBR. My favorite cheap beer.

Mid-level drinking: Fat Tire, Sierra Nevada Stout, Porters, Stouts, dark stuff

Favorite: La Trappe (Koningshoeven) Quadruple. My favorite beer. Had the pleasure of trying this at the actual trappist brewery in Tilburg, Netherlands. Amazing stuff that you can get state-side at the right liquor stores.

If you like dark ales give it a try.

My current stock is

O'Fallon Hemp Hop
Shocktop
Deschutes Redchair
Deschutes 2012 The Abyss - 10 bottles of that
Charleville Box of Chocolate
I'll be picking up some more stuff tomorrow night. One of the girls at the beer store owes me for a bottle of Abyss I gave her.
I'm lucky that I work for a beer and liquor distributor and can get a lot of stuff for stupid cheap. What I have around is always changing but there is almost always Shocktop on hand. $16.50 for a case is hard to beat.

I'm also a fan of the Belgian style beers. In general I like hefs, trappist ales, dopplebocks and porters the most. Lambics too if you consider that beer.

Favorites include the Spaten Optimator, Ayinger Celebrator, Deschutes Black Butte Porter, Chimay Tripel, Blue Moon, Kona Pipeline Porter, Franziskaner Weissbier.

Generally, I prefer IPAs and stouts. The bigger the better.
+1 for this. I also love a good Red, and the IPA blends. White IPA, Red IPA, Black IPA, so far, they've all been delicious.

Oh yeah!? Well, my mom says I'm cool!

Love IPAs, favorites are Stone IPA and Firstone Walker Union Jack. All time favorite has to be the Firestone Walker Double Jack though. Also love a good double red ale, like Bridgeport Kingpin.

Oh an can't forget barley wines!

I like a lot of Belgian Ales; Duvel, Chimay white tripel, Trappistes Rochefort 8, Hoegaarden. I do also like other types like Kona Longboard Island lager, Franziskaner hefeweizen, Breckenridge Vanilla Porter.

I am a fan of Trappist ales as well. If you are going to drink Chimay though, you gotta go Chimay Blue.

A woman after my own heart! I think I just cried a little...

I like a lot of beers. There's a local brewpub in Alberta called brewsters. They brew about 30 of their own beers. A good IPA, lager, and some fruit beers. There's another local brewery called Minhas that I just found. They have a few double IPAs that are just what the Doc ordered! So far all of their beers I find very creamy compared to most. Nice long lasting head, smooth mouth feel and a very balanced brew.

If you like Mill St. try to find "Stock Ale". I think Sobeys sells it, was my go to beer for a while!

If I'm on a budget I just drink less good beer. I'd rather have 1 good beer than 6 shitty ones!
