Damn, mikeg, that's spendy. I know my friends well enough to know that they did not spend that much on the bottle. I don't know what they spent, but I know it wasn't $20 or more. And it was a pretty awesome night.

Oh yeah!? Well, my mom says I'm cool!

Wow think I found a new favorite tonight. Schneider Weisse Tap6 Aventinus Wheat Doppelbock, outstanding beer and I definitely recommend....no Im telling you to try this one lol

Gonna try their Hefeweizen in about 20 minutes, looking forward to that.

Earlier had a Russian Imperial Stout from Wells and Young Brewing Company. Not bad, full dark tasting stout, coffee and smoky taste. Limited edition brewed once a year. Catherine the great drank this stuff lol.

Wow.. You seem to be having very bad luck with Mikkeller beers... I was a big fan of their Mt. Hood IPA and a few of their single hop/single malt series.

Mikkeller are very hit-and-miss. Black hole and Nelson Sauvignon make me happy, whereas some of their beers make me very sad!

To be fair, I was expecting this to have more of a strawberry flavour, and perhaps be a bit sweeter than this. I've got an apple one in my room I'm going to try as well. Hopefully that's slightly less muddy, and more apple-like. We'll see though, I guess. I have to admit though, the sour part made my taste buds really happy.

I'm a big fan of anything Dogfish Head makes. The 120 Minutes is my favorite but that goes for $10+ a bottle around me so that's an occasional indulgence. I also live 5 minutes from Brooklyn Brewery so I drink a lot from there. As far as mass produced beers I like Sam Adams the most.

The first beer I drank that made me think beer could be delicious and not just some pisswater to get drunk off was Delirium Tremens.
