as some of you know, they do/did this on TOS & everyone really enjoyed it...so i thought maybe we could do it here too!

what i'll do is give your info to another person (your secret santa) and send you someone else's info in exchange. no need to spend tons of money on it, even silly little dollar store items can be included...after all it's the thought that counts, not the amount you send or the amount you spend. you want your package to be thoughtful, funny, unique & special. some of the things people have given on TOS is wax, hoodies, stickers, beanies, dvd's, original artwork, candy, adult gag gifts, etc.

so let me know if you're down. to be included as a recipient you MUST also be a gifter. no selfish shiestiness allowed!

the deadline to sign up will be October 31st. that gives me plenty of time to match people up & you plenty of time to shop & send the package. keep in mind it's the holiday season & the whole world is mailing packages at that time. for that reason, packages should be mailed no later than the 2nd week in December. an earlier date should maybe be considered for international deliveries.

it's been suggested that we hold off on opening them until Christmas. i'm not going to make that official because i'm sure i will tear into mine as soon as it arrives! but you all do as you please...if you'd like to wait & open it in front of your family & such, by all means...beware! lol. jk. but you never know what you might get.

the other part of the suggestion, which i will make official, is that when you do open your package you come on here & share what you got & make a guess as to who your secret santa was.

remember it's "secret santa". so keep who you've got a secret...do not tell the person that you've got their name or that you are their secret santa. it's a game & everyone's gotta figure it out. maybe you can include some kind of clue or rhyme or something when you send the package...something they can guess from. i'll give everyone one hint for guessing who their SS was...take note of the return address!

This event is a lot of fun. I am down for it and will send you a PM. We should also set a "mail by" date so our overseas members can get theirs in time. I think it would also be fun to all agree to wait till Christmas and open them with posts and pics if possible of what they got. We will sticky a special thread for Chistmas just for this....
