Why aren't Noboards nonexistant like thier name suggests, It's just a name and I'm sure it's meant to imply a certain freedom that comes withg riding a freebord which is probably about how the thing handles and slides in any direction.

Look I have seen the BSV videos and personally I think that a freebord looks pretty sick. I'm also thinking that a flowboard is way more limited and that if you are looking for soemthing that feels more a snowboard on pavement you going to have more success on the freebord.

There is no reason to create some big fucking argument about this shit. Perp likes one thing and monte likes another. Get over yourselves and knock of the bullshit.

^^^I was joking about the cost and the name, relax a little... I don't think anybody is seriously arguing in this thread. I actually wanted to get a freebord for a while, but just haven't yet. The look pretty fun and the hills in Seattle would kick ass for it.

^^^^ No you were not joking. This is a very very serious matter. And this arguement is very very real. Just like the existance of Old Gregs Mangina that is perhaps the most serious argument of all.

Freebording does take some practice to learn but once you do it feels very similar to snowboarding, you can move the board in any direction at any speed, control you slides, spin 360, float into switch, anything. On a flowboard you can carve if thats what you want to call it. yes it's cheaper but the price reflects the product. Heres a video of a flowboard and a freebord so you can see the difference

flowboard
YouTube - flow board

freebord
YouTube - meds
thanks for the link vids.. the Freeboard does definatly looks more versatile but the flow board vid sucks. Its very low quality and it does not really give a good representation of what you can do on them.. I have only been exposed the freeboard, this is the first I have heard of or seen the flowboard...hmm I will have some more research... cheers.

In all reality I don't really care for either board DCP, I just enjoy fucking with the spammers and confusing the hell out of people. I'll probably have to try one board on each foot and then I'll make my decision.
