This thread has made me think of something I've never thought of before. Does wearing makeup on a daily basis make a person look worse with out make up? Like having specific parts of your face be less exposed to sun light could make odd "tan lines" that would distort what their face should look like. Looking again at some of the pornstar pictures I think this may be what I'm seeing. Also the exposure to daily makeup chemicals and cleaning products effecting the look of the skin while naked.
For the porn stars, I think it's getting rorted by 2000+ dudes that does it. Nobody's been able to convince me otherwise that banging to excess makes a girl look worn out. #haggard
Actually, the point of most makeup is to highlight a woman's features. That's why you "like a little eyeliner". It's why some guys in bands where guyliner. You're caught on that very thick caked on foundation. GOOD makeup, and good makeup jobs don't use that thick crap. Bear in mind that the makeup used on recording sets or photo shoots is not what those people wall around in. The hd cameras and high intensity lighting require it.
That said, there are a fair amount of girls running around that have no idea how to apply makeup. Its like dudes that don't know how to tie a tie properly. If your folks didn't teach you (or google it, now), you wouldn't even know you're doing it wrong.
Exactly right! The correct way to apply makeup has nothing to do with covering up all your imperfections. Someone who knows what they are doing wants freckles and things to show through, so it looks natural and beautiful...not like a caked on mess. The whole point of makeup is to accentuate the beautiful, not so much hide the ugly. Granted...if I have a zit you can bet I know how to cover it up without it looking a mess. lol
