Here it is! MPD is the man when it comes to amazing pumpkin carvings. In his honor, I introduce the first annual Snowboardingforum.com official halloween thread. From now until after Halloween, this thread will be sticky`d here to celebrate this holiday. We all look forward to pics of MPD`s artwork. This is the thread to post all the great pics of parties, costumes and all things Halloweenie...

Well now that u got the blood flowin in the monster might as well post a favorite.

For anyone who wants to try a simple yet effective design here it is. I drew this up a few years ago for a certain online buddy who asked me to create something for him. He gave me the idea and I drew it up. What I didnt realize was it wasnt just another carving design but a contest winner. Other members have taken this design, entered contests and actually won. So give it a try, its easy to do and has a great effect....add a little dry ice and it works wonders.

Yes he is back again this year. Its been a big favorite among the locals. I will probably do three of these cause a couple people do like it...

^^ you haven't seen anything yet. that's just a few of his works, every year he buys an entire pumpkin patch worth of pumpkins, carves them up & posts the pictures up on these boards. but yeah, he does great work...so it's definitely worth sharing!

as for me, this year i'm going to try & do a dead bear pumpkin. last year we only had two pumpkins (1 for my daughter & 1 for my son) so they wouldn't let me do what i wanted. so this year i'm going to buy my own pumpkins & make a bunch of dead ones...a dead bear, a lightening bolt & maybe a jerry one.

this was the one i ended up making last year...

Yea Im going to get the pumpkins this weekend hopefully. People already brought some over and asked me to carve em up. If its a good Pumpkin season and they hold up well I would like to do 20 or so not including the extras people want. We will see.

Jen here is a simple facial version of the bear. Nothing too it. Urs will look awesome for sure. U can add the body its easy...
